Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia – April 7, 2025
The College of Electrical Engineers of Santa Cruz has announced the much-anticipated return of Finergy 2025, the seventh edition of Bolivia’s International Energy Fair, to be held from June 11 to 13 at the Marriott Hotel in Santa Cruz de la Sierra.
This year’s edition promises to be the most dynamic yet, gathering industry leaders, clean energy experts, businesses, government agencies, and academics to explore innovative solutions that will shape the country’s energy future. With a focus on sustainability, innovation, and regional energy resilience, Finergy 2025 is positioning itself as Bolivia’s most important clean energy event of the year.
Finergy 2025: More Than a Trade Show
“Finergy 2025 is more than a commercial fair. It is a space where innovation, knowledge, and strategic partnerships merge to support Bolivia’s sustainable development goals,” said Édgar Arteaga, President of the College of Electrical Engineers of Santa Cruz.
The event will host over 50 companies specializing in energy technologies, mining infrastructure, telecommunications, smart grids, and environmental management. Their participation reflects the growing demand for green technology and efficient energy systems across multiple industries.
Key sectors to be represented include:
- Mining and industrial energy applications
- Smart cities and home automation (domotics)
- Agricultural and livestock energy systems
- Telecommunications infrastructure
- Environmental technologies and off-grid solar solutions
Electromobility and Solar Energy Take Center Stage
A major highlight of Finergy 2025 will be the electric mobility pavilion, where attendees will get a close-up look at electric vehicles (EVs) currently in development or deployment across the region. Organizers aim to demonstrate how electromobility can address not only fuel dependency but also reduce emissions in both urban and rural settings.
In addition to EVs, the fair will feature high-efficiency solar energy systems, including off-grid setups designed for rural communities lacking reliable access to the national electric grid. These technologies will be key in providing sustainable energy alternatives for Bolivia’s remote and underserved areas.
Knowledge Sharing and Strategic Collaboration
Luis Fernando Añez, energy specialist and Vice President of the Society of Engineers of Santa Cruz, emphasized the collaborative nature of Finergy 2025:
“This is a strategic gathering of leaders, entrepreneurs, researchers, and public officials focused on promoting collaboration and action toward a cleaner, more efficient energy future for Bolivia.”
The event will feature:
- Keynote speeches from international and regional energy experts
- Technical panels and roundtable discussions on energy policy, technology, and regulation
- Interactive product demos and hands-on workshops
- Networking lounges for business-to-business (B2B) meetings and strategic alliance-building
This multifaceted approach provides participants with opportunities to learn, connect, and create partnerships that drive sustainable energy projects forward.
Fostering the Next Generation of Energy Leaders
Finergy 2025 has also launched a special engagement program for young professionals and university students. The initiative includes mentorship opportunities, access to technical seminars, and networking sessions with top industry figures.
The goal is to cultivate talent and inspire leadership among the next generation of engineers, entrepreneurs, and energy policymakers. By engaging youth early, Finergy aims to build a more inclusive and forward-thinking energy ecosystem.
A Platform for Innovation and Sustainable Growth
As Bolivia navigates energy transition challenges—from dependency on fossil fuels to limited rural electrification—Finergy 2025 serves as a strategic platform to showcase technological innovation, policy alignment, and community-based solutions.
Whether you’re an investor exploring renewable energy markets, a mining operator looking to reduce your carbon footprint, or a policymaker focused on climate goals, Finergy 2025 offers insights, tools, and contacts to help you move forward.
